Wanted a fresh start and to try other styles and concepts without feeling the need to draw only TLK-style art.

Looking for some peeps to commission! If you or anyone you know is open, feel free to post links to your pricelist/examples in the comments section here. I'm looking for animal and/or human art! NO TLK style art though, please. I'd like to get some original artwork of my characters. Digital or traditional is fine. Paypal is preferred, but points are also fine. I don't mind paying a lot for quality artwork. 

EDIT: I've found some people and ordered some commissions, but next month I'll be looking for more again. ^__^ There's several more people in the comments section that I'm interested in getting artwork from, so I'll check you out when next month rolls around to see if you're still open! If anyone would like to include their commission information below, please still feel free to do so.

If anyone's interested, I'm posting my non-TLK/Disney-esque art over here: . I'd like to try to get away from the style a bit and develop my own at some point.

That said, I'll probably be practicing humans and stuff, so the artwork may not always be that great. You have been warned!~

Sorry for the zillion and one journal entries and no art, but last update on my life (I promise).

After seven months of looking, I got three job offers in one week (finally, yay!) and after some tough consideration, I took a job as a geneticist. It's a good job, with good pay and benefits, and the company and people seem really cool. It'll be a challenge, but it'll be a fun challenge. So that's one less thing to worry about.

The move cross-country went surprisingly well, and my cat and I are adjusting to the new environment. He was very good in the car, but that's not a trip I want to make again with an animal. >>

Unfortunately, while all this was happening, my grandfather passed away. He'd been doing poorly for years now, so it wasn't as much of a shock as it might have been, but it's still been hard. He was one of the kindest, gentlest men I've ever met, and he and my grandma helped raised me when I was little, since my parents worked full-time. I've been spending a lot of time with grandma and family at the moment.

Also, since I now have a job, everything on my to-do list (commissions, etc.) is going to be free. Because ... I can. And I'd rather consider them good practice pieces rather than commissions, which I don't think I'll take again for the foreseeable future.

I set up my gallery again with new settings, and everything I post from here on in will be plastered with a watermark that I designed. It won't stop people who trace, but it'll make it a lot harder for people to grab my work for games or to try to sell on Ebay and stuff.

... that was a very disjointed summary of my life right now, but my brain is sort of going in several directions at the present time. I miss you guys a lot, and will be posting art soon.
