Commission Information

• Process: Once I accept the commission and you note me with the specifics, I will note you back once I finish the sketch stage. At that point, you're allowed to make any changes you'd like, including asking me to redo the sketch entirely (you get one free complete redo). Once you're fine with the sketch, I will finish the piece. You may again ask for changes once it's finished, but please don't ask for anything that needed to be corrected in the sketch stage, as it's much more difficult to do at this point!
• Timeline: Unless you have a specific timeline, please give me two months to finish your commission. If I don't finish it within that period, I will either do the piece for free, or do more for your piece (if it's a sketch, I may do a finished piece/give it a complex background rather than a simple background/etc.). If you're getting a fully finished piece with a complex background already, I will give you a second (free) commission. If you have a specific timeline that you need the piece finished by, let me know before I start the commission so that I can see if I can get it done by that point. I may have to refuse the commission if I don't think I can.
• Specifics: If you want a specific 'look' to your piece (thin lines, thicker lines, Disney style, anime style, etc.). I will do Disney style by default, but if there's a piece in my gallery that you like the look of, and you want me to do something similar, don't hesitate to ask. I can try other styles as well, but bear in mind, I may not be as good at them.
• What I can/can't draw: I can try to draw anything, but be warned, I'm very poor at humans and humanoid creatures. I will not draw anything behind PG-13, except some mild gore.

• Payment: I prefer to take payment only after the sketch stage has been approved. If you would rather pay me up front, that's fine, but I do prefer to wait until the sketch stage is completed. I take Paypal only, in USD. Sometimes I'll offer sales for my work at a reduced price.
• Refunds: I give full refunds at any point up to the sketch stage. After that, depending on the amount of work I've put into the piece, I will give partial refunds.
• Returning customer perk: This is something new I'd like to implement for the awesome people who commission me multiple times. If you're a returning customer (IE, you've bought a commission from me before), you get $3 off of a normal price sketch commission, or $5 off a normal price finished commission.

After you have received your art, you may ...

• Post it to any of your websites/galleries, so long as you give me credit for the artwork itself.
• Use it for any private means (RP, icons, etc.).

After you have received your art, you may not...

• Use it commercially (IE, make a profit out of it). If you want to purchase artwork from me for commercial use, please notify me before I start the commission.

I will not use your artwork for any other commercial purpose myself, except to use as an example for commission pricing. I reserve the right to post the art on any of the various galleries I have online. If you don't want me to post it publicly, please let me know beforehand. If you wish to delay the appearance of the piece in my gallery (if it's a surprise for someone else), that's perfectly alright.
